What we've got here!

i'm reading some local magazines and ended up doing this wild browsing on the net digging out these young designers who appears in the magazines..apparently i've found myself attracted to some of their stuff..and what makes it more good is the fact that they come from indonesia!! yes baby it's local stuff with good quality (i can assure that hehe)..they produces clothes that in my opinion can stand side by side with famous clothing brands in the realm of teenagers a.k.a ababil such as Zara, Topshop, Forever21, H&M, Mango etc haha
so these are the designers and some sample of what their dealing with ;p

1. Jordan Marzuki from The Balletcats
this 21 years old male (such a young age! i envy him..haha) is a graduated student from Lasalle College International Jakarta and a cat snob! haha one of his influences is Quentin Tarantino..if you want to know more about him and his collections just go visit his online store The Balletcats..he's not having a real stores yet, physically i mean..so you must buy it online..

i just love what he's doing..
and apparently my boyfriend agrees with me ;p

2. Nina Nikicio from Nikicio and Oneandahalf

she's a young designer graduated from Lasalle College of The Arts in Singapore..and her works took part at the Autumn/Winter 08 of Singapore Fashion Week..Her premium clothing's line is Nikicio which is quite expensive in pricing..but then she come up with her second line called Oneandahalf which is more cheaper and offering clothes that can be detached, attached, draped, twisted, and even danced with (according to what's written in her official site)..you can stalk the whole thing about her and her collections at Nikicio..
if you managed to buy something from her just go straight to Fashion First at Senayan City..she's still working her webstores i guess..hope the webstores will be launched soon..and here's some of her works..

her designs is simple, classics and give a slight of classy look
this is exactly what i want to wear!!

this is for Nikicio..
glamorous but still simple with great basic colors
it's bit too much for me hehe

so if you can managed buying all the expensive stuff from international brands..why don't you did the same for these good local stuff then?
