I remember,

i've this short conversation with my bf a few days ago about jobs and stuff..actually he's talking about some of his friend whose "lucky" enough to get good job with good salary, the thing that struck into his head is the fact that they are hmm how i'm gonna say this..well, not actually a top students in the school..they have had so called bad attitude back in time haha so bf can't believe the good luck (or good things?) followed them in life, maybe he's a little bit envy with their good life..then i said to him that some people are lucky enough to have what they want just by clicking his/her fingers while other people just have to work very hard to get what they want..maybe both of us (me and bf) included in the second option, we just have to work our ass off to get what we want..
then he said "jaman sekarang kalo punya orang tua 'jadi', mau ngapain juga gampang..sekarang pengaruh orang tua tuh kuat banget, kalo orang tuanya sukses pasti anaknya juga sukses, at least anaknya gampang aja gitu dapet kerja and stuff..contohnya anaknya sampoerna, bakrie, dll..kebalik sama jaman dulu, kalo dulu kayanya bisa-bisa aja kan tuh anaknya sukses padahal orang tuanya biasa2 aja atau bahkan orang susah.." hah that's soooo true..in the end kita berdua cuma ketawa miris..

well, what we've got in our life is a gift from Allah, uda ada rejekinya masing-masing..so just say Alhamdulillah then..cheers!
