tied the knot

i just finished reading a new book by clara ng today..it's called two for tea..
nice book btw..you should read it..

it's really open my eyes in a good way..made me think about the other side of marriage..the bad side..it's about domestic violence..
that could happens to anyone..
but honestly most people don't even think that this could happens to them..including me..
all this time maybe we think we've know everything about our partner..
but sometimes it just doesn't ended like we wish for..

my mother said to me that there's always a "surprise" after someone got married..
you'll find something that really new about your partner..something you don't see before..
as you will live 24 hours together..so it makes sense..haha
even if you have a long-term-full-of-happy-and-sad-relationship before you finally tied the knot and you think you knows everything about your partner..it doesn't make a difference..the surprise thing is always there..waiting to release..
and that surprise can become your nightmare (like those happens to sassy the main character on the book) or simply just make you smile and falling in love again and again..
i prefer the last one hahaha *i see you agree with me ;p
and if the bad ones get you..i believe that people who really care for you will be there..right next to you..supporting and reminding that you deserve to be happy!
just open your heart to them..and let them save you..
family and true friends are always stick together! i always believing it..

i don't mean to become so cynical or pessimistic about marriage..
i do believe in happily ever after kind of marriage..and surely want to have one ;p
so i think what i'm gonna say is just get to know your partner well before you've decided to go to the next step..use all of your senses..
